Master Andrew Oh started off with a 1st round bye, making it to the Round of 16 to face of 2009 US Junior National Team member Matthew Kim. The match ended in a whopping victory of 19-3, scoring 4 face shots throughout the match. The next match was against 2009 US Open Bronze Medalist Joel Han, which ended in a win in Overtime by Superiority. Master Oh’s semifinal match was against Peak Performance Team Member Jayson Zuluaga. Taking an early lead of 2-0 in the 1st round, the referees scored a face kick to Zuluaga, which did not touch Master Oh’s head. Master Oh quickly caught back taking a 5-3 lead, scoring two back kicks and a quadruple kick to the stomach. However, the referees made some controversial calls, allowing Zuluaga to take the match into overtime. Through all this, Master Oh managed to score with a left roundhouse kick, winning the match in overtime.
